Ich bin ein sehr offene Mensch der die Chance hat mit verschiedenen Kulturen zu tun hat und durch mein Akadämisches Studium das meine Kentnnesse vertieft hat, habe ich gelernt dass Sprache mehr als Regeln, Grammatik und Phonatix sondern hat sie ihre Würtzeln in Kultur, lifstyle und Mentalität desshalb ist Lehren oder Unterrichten für mich nicht ein Job sondern vielmehr, und da finde ich meine Freude zwischen zwie kulturen und Mentalitäten zu vermitteln.

For the past year i have had a job teaching english to students in a university in Valparaiso, Chile. I also taught voluntarily to children in a poorer community at the weekends. I have gained patience, confidence and a better understanding of teaching from these experiences.

My teaching method depends on what the level is, what students are most interested in learning (writing/speaking) and how much time they have.

For advanced students I like using movies and articles from newspapers. So that they can learn also something about the Italian culture. but of course they have to learn before the basic grammar... If they already now the basic, the students naturally become able to talk about the news, their job or their interests.

I am a 48 year old father of two with a Maths degree and have written educational software for years.
I believe tutoring has to be tailored to the individual needs of the tutee. No student should feel "bad" about their standard of knowledge. My job is to identify why a student cannot understand a concept and then explain the concept in different ways so the student's confusion is removed. With little time before an exam, a "first aid" approach may be required where techniques can be rote-learned, to hopefully push the student up a grade.

I have been teaching since 2002. I have taught many students of FSc classes, matriculation, and O levels. Some of them still have contact with me. I am polite, caring and a very good teacher. My method of teaching is simple but sharp.
